Scientists believe that the cause of death of over a hundred dolphins on the coast of Italy may be due to a deadly measle strain.
Dead dolphins have been showing up on the west coast of Italy since the beginning of the year.
According to the BBC who had corresponded with Nicola Hodgins, the International project manager for The Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society, the origins of the disease affecting the dolphins is unknown.
